Tonight! The Fawns & Gentle Hen rock Bands on Brewster!
Please note- we plan to start the show early at 5:45pm due to weather.
Thursday, June 6 @ Brewster Court, Northampton, MA
(between the E.J. Gare Parking Garage and the back entrance of the Northampton Brewery)

THE FAWNS
Sometimes, you want to skip the salad and entree and concentrate on the wine and dessert. Sometimes you want to forget formalities and get right down to business. And sometimes, all you want when you listen to music is the pop hook--the thing that releases all the good stuff in your brain, makes you smile, dance and tell your friends that they're awesome. Lesa Bezo, the singer and songwriter of The Fawns, understands this, for she is the Hook Fairy. She will hook you up with your daily allowance of hooks. Of course, a hook cannot survive without a top notch song built around it. Rest assured, Fawns songs (Fawngs) have substance to spare, from the clever lyrics to their arrangements.  After one listen, you'll return to your Fawns albums again and again to hear Lesa sing her songs, with her Fawn-boys rocking out in back. We admit, this music is addictive, but not to worry...it's good for you. The Fawns are Lesa Bezo, Henning Ohlenbusch, Brian Marchese, Max Germer, and Ken Maiuri.

GENTLE HEN
First thing you need to know: Gentle Hen used to be called School for the Dead. The name changed but the band remained the same. The band is led by Henning Ohlenbusch who writes, sings, and produces all the songs. The current line up of the rest of band is:
- Brian Marchese (The Figments, The Aloha Steamtrain, The Fawns) on drums
- Max Germer (Winterpills) on bass
- Ken Maiuri (B-52's, King Radio, The Mammals) on guitar and keys.
They play jangly, smart, indie-pop-rock.
