Interested in learning more about the MassCreative's 2024-2025 Advocacy & Organizing Fellowship? Hear from current fellow, Wylder Ayres, about the program, We'll also walk you through the application process.

The Advocacy & Organizing Fellowship is a twelve month advocacy leadership development program for moderately experienced artivists and community leaders. Selected fellows will spend one year receiving training, information, and networking from experienced organizers and leaders within the creative sector to become more effective local and statewide arts champions.


Ideal Fellowship Applicants are:

  • Passionate leaders with a desire to learn and commitment to advancing funding, policy, and equity across Massachusetts’ creative sector   

  • Have some experience with advocacy or activism but seek support with scaling sustainable movements

  • Individuals who are members of the creative community: artists, creative workers, arts administrators, board members of cultural organizations, etc. 

  • Have a clear desire to affect change within their creative community at the local, regional, or state levels
