Call to Artists: Hosmer Gallery seeks Applications for 2025-2026

Forbes Library is excited to invite exhibit proposals for the Hosmer Gallery!
We’ll be planning exhibits for June 2025 through April 2026.

The Hosmer Art Gallery, which opened in 2002, is designed to provide opportunities for local artists to show their work to the public. Exhibits include a wide range of media and content reflecting the diversity of the greater Northampton community. The Hosmer Gallery has versatile display panels, cases and pedestals to accommodate a variety of two- and three-dimensional art formats.

We offer an inclusive space that builds community and belonging. Artists living and working in western Massachusetts (Hampshire, Hampden, Franklin and Berkshire counties) are eligible to apply. First-time exhibitors, individuals and groups are welcome. We value diversity and inclusivity in our gallery exhibitions. Criteria for review include technical and artistic quality, a coherent theme, and contribution to an interesting and varied program for the cycle.

¡La biblioteca Forbes invita propuestas de exhibiciones para la Galería Hosmer!
Estamos planeando las exposiciones de junio 2025 a abril 2026.

La galería de arte Hosmer, que abrió en el 2002, está diseñada para proveer oportunidades a artistas locales de exhibir su obra al público. Las exposiciones incluyen un gran rango de media y contenido reflejando la diversidad de Northampton y la región. La Galería Hosmer cuenta con paneles para exhibir versatilmente, estuches de muestra, y pedestales para dar lugar a una gran variedad de formatos planos o tridimensionales.

Ofrecemos un espacio inclusivo que construye comunidad y pertenencia. Esta convocatoria está abierta a artistas viviendo y trabajando en el oeste de Massachusetts (en los condados de Hampshire, Hampden, Franklin y Berkshire). Artistas sin previas exposiciones, individuos, y grupos son bienvenidos a aplicar. Valoramos la diversidad e inclusividad en nuestras exposiciones. La criteria incluye calidad técnica y artística, un tema coherente, y la aportación a un programa interesante y variado para el ciclo.
