Applications for the BIPOC Artist Membership Award Are Open!

We are once again accepting applications for the BIPOC Artist Membership, a yearly program that offers free studio membership and 100 studio hours to artists of color. Thanks to donations from our members, we are able to offer this award to two artists in 2025.
Awardees will receive all the benefits of a Zea Mays Printmaking membership for one year, including:
-Access to our state-of-the-art printmaking studio facilities and equipment!
-Invitation to enter ZMP member exhibitions
-Invitation to Virtual Lunches
-Advance notice of upcoming workshops
-Workshop discount – (for fixed price workshops)
-Member’s page on website
-Option for Flat File Representation
Awardees will also receive 4 hours private tutorial with Studio Director Liz Chalfin, OR free enrollment in 1 one- or two-day in-studio workshop of your choice.
Artists of all printmaking experience levels who identify as BIPOC are encouraged to apply. Applications will be reviewed by Zea Mays Printmaking management and faculty, and selected based on how well applicants’ experience, needs and goals match what the studio programming has to offer.
Deadline to apply is May 14th, 2025! Awardees will be selected on May 30th.
