Upcoming Exhibit: "The Debt you Owe" by Oliver James to Debut at 50 Arrow Gallery
50 Arrow Gallery is excited to announce the premiere of "The Debt you Owe," an impactful solo exhibit by renowned Washington DC muralist and artist, Oliver James. Scheduled to unveil in April 2024, this exhibition promises to challenge perceptions, ignite conversations, and shed light on uncomfortable truths surrounding oppression within capitalist societies.
Oliver James presents a compelling array of original paintings and prints that boldly confront the often-overlooked history of indigenous genocide and oppression, which underpins the economic might of currencies like the USD and Yuan. Through her art, James offers a poignant reminder of the global interconnectedness of economies and the human toll exacted by unbridled capitalism.
