June 8th, 2009 Files for Download Max Yasgur said to the crowd at the original Woodstock that “This is the largest group of people ever assembled in one place, and I think you people have proven something to the world: that a half a million kids can get together and have three days of fun and music and have nothing *but* fun and music… “ Forty years later, we’re going to pack three days into one night at Transperformance 19: "LookStock" on Tuesday August 25, 2009. Route 9 will be a parking lot, so take the bike path over to Look Park for the fun and the music. Many of the area’s finest bands will come together in the spirit of the wide-legged, tie-dyed, glazy-eyed spectacle that was Woodstock and changed the history of rock and roll.
